Has anyone received their refund from Republic Bank/Taxact today?

I saw one person post saying they had received there's after fee were taken out. If you've got it who do you bank with, and who did it say made the deposit? I'm curious to see if any of the deposits are starting to drizzle in.

Here's the thing about their little story: I went onto www.republictaxpayer.com and entered my SSN, filing status, & amount expected. The status is AS OF 9:45 PM TONIGHT: "Federal ERD. Money will be sent by ACH from RBT to taxpayer's account." BUT I was told yesterday by Republic Bank that my money was sent on 1/27 at 8:19 a.m. to the Federal Reserve and will be forwarded to my bank within 1-4 business days. So, if that's the case, WHY is the status on their website "WILL BE SENT FROM RBT TO TAXPAYER'S ACCOUNT"????????????? LIES, LIES, LIES!!!!!!

I also have citizens first national bank and haven't seen anything. I went off on republic bank today, twice with no results other than 1-4 days wait. no tracking number will be provided you apparantly have to have a form sent to you and send it all the way back the the friggin virgin islands in order to get a tracking number. Ignorance. Maybe they are holding as much as they can to get interest for it on the 1st of Feb. What state do the people live in that DID receive it. It seemed like people were being accepted for DD from east to west coast, I wonder if it isn't similar for DD...please post when you receive something...

The republic website also says the same thing under status but ours says sent out 1/28/2010. whjen I called the tollfree number on the website and entered my same information the automated service said it was sent out 1/27/2010..somethings wrong here for sure

We filed with taxact on the 15th, accepted the 17th, had fees deducted with republic bank, irs sent my refund to them on the 27th. The RB info line said they received it the 27th at 8am and sent it to my bank account. My bank posts real time and when I called yesterday (they are open on Saturdays) the branch manager said nothing pending. My husband called RB and asked for a trace or transaction number for the DD and she said there was no such thing(lol). She also said that the automated phone message meant nothing and she didnt know why they posted that message. She then said that the deposit had to clear the federal reserve first and then go to my account. The 30th would have been the 4th day but still no money. Trust me people, in my case, its Republic Bank.

Double check your routing and account numbers to see if they were entered correctly.



If they are, you probably applied for a rapid refund loan or had a portion of your tax prep fees deducted from your refund. (NEVER DO THIS!) If this is what you did, then you need to contact the bank that your tax prep agency/software uses...Republic Bank, SBBT, HSBC, Netspend Card etc. They can update you on the status. Regardless of whether you had your federal AND/OR your state prep fees taken out...your refund will be delayed if you had the fees deducted from the refund!



If the numbers were entered wrong, you will receive a paper check from the IRS, which can take up to 6 weeks.

I didn't. I bank with a smaller bank called Citizens National Bank, but they post in real time. I don't understand why some people would get theirs earlier if they had to go through Republic Bank.

Nope, not yet. It is 4:35pm on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010. I am still waiting. I filed with TaxAct.com, and have always did for the past 3 years. I have always got my refund on time. This is the first time that I am waiting. I should have got it yesterday DD. Still waiting. Will post when I receive something.

I received my refund yesterday 2/29 deposited in my accounts as "US Treasury 220 Tax Refund PPD" deposited in 2 separate bank accounts (Chase and BOA) . I paid for my Tax Act fees using a debit card so I guess that is why I got my deposit as scheduled.

me and my cousin did ours same day accepted on 18th and both of us got fees taken out and she recieved hers today and i am still waiting. she banks with bank of america
