I filled my taxes with turbo tax on Feb 10th 2014 and I received a acceptance email from turbo tax saying the IRS had accepted my federal return on Feb 11th, but that email went to my spam folder for some reason. I checked where's my refund through the IRS website and it says I will be able to track my refund once I receive the acceptance email. So what's the problem? I got one, but it went to my spam folder, along with the state return. Any ideas?

Check the help function of your e-mail program for instructions on fine tuning the spam filter. One way is to add the sender to your contacts. Another is to white list the sender.

Receipt or non-receipt of the e-mail does not affect the ability to track the status of your tax return on the WMR page. WMR is buggy and fixing it is not a major priority with the IRS.

Your Spam settings are too high. Add the "from" address to the OK list (aka "white list")
