Depending on where you're living, I would assume you're going to have to file taxes. Besides, you can write-off a lot of the expenses you used to get the business off the ground.



I would definitely seek the advice of a CPA as you'll probably realize some sort of benefit for filing (i.e. a bigger refund).



There are also different tax burdons depending on whether the business is a sole proprietorship, partnership, or LLC. Again, check with your financial planner for guidance, but you're going to have to file some sort of return for the business since you had revenue.
